streaky windows after up and down?

ok so this is a weird question and / or problem

i noticed that my windows streak after going up and down .... maybe 2-3" section around the inside door handle area

both windows do it...like there is grease or something in the track area around there that is getting on the glass --- only on the inside

anyone else ever experience this? ive never spilled anything ON the windows, nor on BOTH at the same spot...so this tells me that it might be a common problem of something inside the door

anyways, anyone? any solutions?

There are small fuzzy pads down in the door that rub on the glass to keep it tight... they collect dirt and such. Roll your window down and take something like a spackling knife, something thin and wide. Wrap an old microfiber cloth over it and soak the cloth in water and push it down onto the pad and scrub the pad and pull it out... rinse the cloth and repeat until the cloth comes out clean.

My Clubman has it too. I've seen quite a few posts complaining about this. I have never seen anyone with a solution, other than the "wax/WD-40 your windows" people.
