DICE iPod Adapter: What is the SAT module?

Well I did a search in the 1st gen subforum and I got all sort of results not related to audio whatsoever. I'm looking into buying the DICE iPod adapter for my '06 MCS and while looking at the purchase details in the following webiste, it ask the buyer to specify if the car has the "SAT module" or not,

http://diceelectronics.com/mini-cooper.html

Can someone tell me what the SAT module is? Is this somehow related to the Navigation system? My car does not have the Navi, but it has the H/K sound system. I'll appreciate the help!

We actually carry the Dice units. I believe the sat module is just asking if you have Nav or not. These are great, they actually just updated them so they work with the Ipod touch and will charge your Iphone.

Feel free to call me on Monday and I'll get you the right unit.

Judging from the note at the bottom of the page, I think SAT refers to Sirius satellite radio.

BTW, DICE is not compatible with Factory navigation. It takes control of the screen so that maps are not displayed. If you have a 1st gen MINI with Nav, Intravee is the only iPod interface that works well.

Looks like I'm safe then; my car has H/K sound but it didn't came with Sirius or factory Nav.
