Just FYI on 2006 MCS Heater Issue I had...

Well living in the High Desert, you will notice that the mornings can be rather chilly already, this time of year. So I had to use the heater for the first time in my recently purchased Mini. Well it didn't work.

Still Under Warranty, I took it to Mini of Monrovia. Which was a pleasurable experience, the drive on the 210 at 5:00 pm, not so much.

Well 24hrs later I received a call that my Instrument Cluster will have to be replaced and it will take 4 days to get in. :-( Then I received another call 30 mins later and the service advisor told me, when my iPod module was installed the tech pinched the heater tube (which one IDK, I assume some sort of vacuum tube) and that was the cause. So they unpinched it (if that is a word) and all is well.
