New clutch and it feels like a brand new car

I had my clutch and flywheel replaced under warranty and picked the car up today. The car has 70k miles, but feels brand new now.

Prior to the clutch job, my steering wheel vibrated, my suspension felt 'loose', and my clutch slipped/groaned/smelled.

Now, everything feels tight. I don't know if its because they had to disassemble and reassemble the entire front end, but I get no more vibrations and everything feels 10x better.

Lastly, it feels amazing having a fresh throwout bearing in there! I can actually pull away from a red light smoothly without having to slip the clutch.

Great day for the mini.

Did they also replace the guide sleeve when they replaced the throw out bearing?

I am not sure, does the T.O. bearing come in the clutch kit, thought that was separate kit not always done but recommended if doing a clutch job.

As far as I know, the Clutchmasters clutch kit came with the T.O. The shaft was bought separately.

Yup it came with the throwout bearing. If you look at replacement clutches online, you can see in the picture that they all come with throwout bearings.

funny but I'm experiencing the opposite. I just got my Mini back on Friday from getting an entire new tranny and clutch installed and it now feels l like a rattle-trap. I hear so much creaking in the frame I had to check yesterday to make sure they put the strut brace back in. Was thinking maybe it was all in my head from 2 weeks of driving the loaner BMW 328i which is pretty quite, but I'm not so sure .
