I love my MINI. I had a thermostat housing replaced under warranty. (All cars are going to have a problem every now and then.) Other than that, my 06 MINI's a gym. It has close to 40k on it. I'm planning to keep it for a very long time. People that think MINI's are unreliable should buy a Land Rover or a Jeep.

Well I got to have fun allll day in RC. Got to play with another modded mini in the morning, then a wrx on the highway, and then an srt 4 and 06 bmw 330i. Granted i blew thru alotta gas putting the hammer down the whole time but, other than getting a little heatsoaked RC performed great. Only the srt took me and not by all that much.

running strong and I love it
84k miles on my 2002 MC. Bone stock. Previous owner took care of 98% of the issues. All small shyte.
I drive it to work 30 miles each way, every day. I love this car. My co-workers for the most part drive big honkin gas guzzling trucks ("Get her done" crowd.)
Lots of positive comments about the car everywhere I go.

Ha! I washed my 05MCS today and just in time for snow.
I bought my MINI a little over a week ago and haven't received the title yet - so I've been sneaking and driving it. What a fun ride! I haven't discovered any problems with the car thus far but even if I do, I'm just glad I finally have a MINI! I haven't settled on a name for him yet. I think it's a guy. I've read here on NAM that if I listen really hard, the car will let me know what name it likes. I'm keeping my ears open.

Four months and 5,000 miles of grins and giggles. Took the 2009 MINI MCS Convertible on a 500 mile trip with my wife into the mountains of western NC a few weeks ago when the trees were near peak in color. This car carved the turns like a pro and stuck like glue. At the end of the trip my wife (without prompting) said that the MINI was every bit as comfortable as the BMW 530 on a trip. Happy Motoring!!

little red S is great
06 MCS, a baby really since it's less than 30k miles but we came back from a trip to NJ (from Boston area) and aside from super crummy roads the trip was perfect. Even though my right foot needs to learn some restraint, I got 31+mpg on the way back... I should do better, must learn restraint...

Had my 2 year anniversary couple of weeks ago, MINI turned over 68k at the same time (more or less) - ~21k in the time I've had it, a few issues here and there, but no deal breakers. Ridden hard and put away wet, as the cowboys say, but always ready for more. Will reward it in the Spring with some suspension stuff and a new exhaust ...
My response when people ask if I like it: "5 things": outdrags a Mustang GT, drives like a go-cart on meth-amphetamine, 35 mpg on the highway the way I drive it, nobody asks me to help them move, and the chicks dig it! What else could a single guy want in a car?

I haven't named mine but he might have one - at least everybody who rides in it sez the same name: "JESUS CHRIST!"
