Not in your club, (MCS DS/DS),but... I have a thought on stripes. I really like white bonnet stripes on Minis that have white roofs. There's something about bring all the colors together. Am I right?
>>Mine is VW/W. Going to be adding a couple of white bonnet stripes soon.

Laurie, is that Bugs Bunny lingo? velvet wed?
There are a few VRs in da house (mini-rolls, one of the Hawaii gang and more).
But I gotta say that on the last few MINI meets I went to, there were zero VR represented.
On another interesting note, I was on the Beirut MINI site as I've been trying to talk my best friend into buying one to keep there for our future trips to Lebanon. Their configurator STILL lists Silk Green and Velvet Red as options. I don't know if they just haven't updated the site OR if there are still some limited productions of our rarest of MINI colors.
I have a VR/W! And at the last MINI rally I attended, mine was the only VR in attendance...
... in fact, in the 3.5 months I've owned the car I've only seen one other VR/W on the road -- and it was piloted by a humorless old crone who glared when I waved.
I got magnetic white bonnet stripes, and they look really nice on the car, but they're more for show than go.
the first time I visited a mini showroom I fell in love with VR/W with W bonnet stripes, this is the ultimate bueaty. I would have choosen VR/W if it came as a MCS but instead of that they discontined it all together.
Aloha from Hawaii where we have several VR MC but not all are on MCO. It's a popular color for us.
Here is Kohu'ulaMINI's fast VR/VR MC (send him a PM if you want him to join your VR club)

VR/B was my first choice and I had trouble making up my mind about options, but never about the color. I've only been seeing it in the "flesh" for a week, but I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.
