Another Tranny "auto" Question

i see lots of threads on bad tranny's.. hmmmm
sounds weird.. not that kind of place..

any way

i have a 05 mini.. non S cooper

runs great..
has a little grumbling sound.. ps pump? humms and vibrates a little..
cause for concern ? or does it just do that..

and

when i put the auto trans in gear.. D or R .. there is a little delay and lately it has been slamming into gear.. a little harder than it did last year when i got it.

i am 3 hours from dealer. just wondered if any of you have found this to be the start of something fun..

and

runs and shifts ok.. a little herky jerky but not too bad..

thanks for your time

well, I would change the tranny oil first, and see if any metal bits come out.

i think that is the stand procedure.
