silicone water hose questions

anyone have the hoses from Moss Mini? I get some odor in my car when it gets hot and wonder if these hoses will help..... my coolant temps are 200-221 when this occurs.....any ideas?

It might not even be hose related. IMO, I would check the cabin filter and see if thats crummy at all. Start with the easy stuff. If it gets worse, invest in some little trees. New car scent FTW.

I found out that in my car, the "burnt like smell when the car is hot" is atributed to the coolant overflowing from the expansion tank and evaporating rapidly on the hot exhaust shield. My coolant levels are always near the low mark, yet it still boils over at times.
