Advice please for my leather steering wheel

Hi,
This is my first post ever . I have a 2003 MC that I've owned since early March 2007. I'd like to know what poeple would recommend for repairing a small piece of the top layer of leather that has pulled back on one of the spokes next to the seam of my steering wheel (not multifunction). Should I use a dab of a particular type of glue or buy a repair kit? I can't take it to the dealer to have it fix under warranty because my warranty expired about 25 days after getting my MINI, which was a bummer.

Oh, and I'm assuming that the steering wheel is leather since that is what my seats are.

I smile every time I see my MINI and get excited when I see another MINI motoring around town.

I would think in the Bay area you could find a 1/2 decent leather shop or cobbler. They should hook you up for a minimal fee.

I prefer doing the small repair myself. Anyone else have suggestions?

Autozone sells a repair kit, or you could just use Gorilla glue, being very careful with the excess.
