We have 3 Magnolia cabins (3-bedroom/2 bath) with some space left. Some of us will be leaving on Wednesday, driving part way and staying overnight somewhere, then driving the rest early Thursday. Some of us won't be arriving until Friday night.

Lots of open beds for Thursday night. It gets a a bit tighter after that - think sleeping bags on a couch/floor. PM me if you want more info.

We had 18 go down last year and many of that group is returning. We had a blast from beginning to end!

I'll be there, was there last year also (but before I got hooked up with the Pittstop club....). As of now, my plan is to drive all the way down on Weds. I had a blast last year, I sure hope there is an autocross again this year!!!

As far as AMVIV, I think that sounds like a real good time also....but haven't give much serious thought yet....

I'm driving down Wed., before it all begins. Right now I have a reserved double at the Fontana Inn...not sure about a "roomie" yet, as last year's hasn't decided to go again.

To clarify, 18 people, not cars.

I can't speak for everyone, but I know a number of us are already [over]committed to organizing some other events during the weekend. That prolly explains the lack of response you've gotten.

Garage
So it's a little early to get a head count, but I'm in. Unlike last year, where I towed the Mini grille (and had to keep up with all y'all), this year I'm driving track-toy (the beast in the garage).

MOTD and AMVIV

We are already down for the MOTD, did my registrations tonight. It just so happens that my wife, daughter and grandson are going to Vegas for the Monster Truck Nationals and will be there the same time as AMVIV. I signed them up for that tonight also. My daughter tried to rent a MINI in Vegas but only one (an S Convertible) was for rent in the whole town and it was already rented. I talked to Bill S at the winter driving event and said I wanted to bring my car in for service and wanted him to provide me a loaner, IN VEGAS! He thought that was a geat idea but wouldn't work .

We are polishing up some last minute details as I type. We should be opening registration (and all the details) VERY soon.

What I can tell you now is that it will be gaming casino environment that will be a LOT of fun and you won't want to miss it! I will also say that Steve and Pam Mielnicki are the driving forces behind the whole event. Not only did they originate the idea, but they have done the most to make it a reality. They absolutely deserve most of the credit for getting this together. (Thanks guys!)

While we had to scale back our "vision" just to make it happen this year, we still think that the core of it is a great event and will be very fun. We expect it to be a success and grow closer to the "vision" for next year!
