Belt Tensioner Tool

Does the club now have a belt tensioner tool? I know Tim had one and we were thinking of starting a tool collection. I ask because I installed a tensioner stop bar yesterday and I'd like to check how freely it moves. My wife revved the engine a few times, and the bar seemed to move some, but I thought if we have the tool I could give it a better look. Thanks.

Gil

I'll take the blame for this having fallen through the cracks with my recent (and somewhat sudden) change in responsibilities.

In short, no, we did not proceed with this acquisition. That is not to say that we shouldn't. Thanks for reminding me about it - I will bring it up at the meeting tomorrow evening and let you know where things stand.

BTW, we now have both the belt tensioner tool and the deluxe pulley puller. They are available to PittStop MINI Club members with a deposit and we will also rent them to non-members.

We will be adding more special MINI tools to the collection over the next few months.
