Oct 1st Poker Run

Its that time of year again.
Perfect for the Changing Fall Colors.
Weather looks good but higs in the upper 50's and low 60's but could change.

The Fayette County Poker Run
What: A poker Run in Fayette County
When: October 1, 2006
Time: Meet at 12:00 pm, first car leaves at 12:30 pm
Where: Parkvale Bank, which is just East of Brownsville on Route 40. The address is:
6023 National Pike East
Grindstone, PA 15442
Description: The Pittstop Mini Club will be traveling to Fayette County for the September Poker Run in celebration of
the 200th anniversary of the National Road (Route 40).We'll be meeting at the Parkvale Bank, Brownsville
Office, parking lot on Route 40 East at 1:00 on September 23. We'll be traveling along and around the
National Road and seeing many of the historic and recreational sites along the way. We'll finish at
Nemacolin Woodlands, named for an Indian chief from the area, for our afternoon repast. The autumn colors
will be just starting and we'll have country roads and plenty of beautiful mountain vistas to enjoy, as well
as the joy of driving and sharing the road with other Mini fans. Hope to see you there.

Maybe 3 or 4, its up to you guys, the poker run is 60 miles long, thats it.

Is the Poker Run on Oct. 1st? I only ask because the paragraph describing it says the start is on Sept 23rd. That's quite a run! If it's on the 1st count on me and my navigator!

Oops sorry, they changed it and did not take it out, man have they been on the road for a long time...lol

...I think I made a wrong turn three days ago and ended up in Kansas..lol

Oct 1 st poker run..

It will be ending in hopwood, pa but after the event wraps up you will have the chance to join myself and other on a trip to Nemacolin Woodland Resort.

Art tours are conducted daily at 3:00 p.m. starting in the Chateau Lobby.

It is east on Rt 40 into the mountains.

Remember the poker run starts at 12:30pm noon so be early.
If this is not enough, their is a Spa, Ice cream palor, and if you have the $$$ with Hummers.

We had some prime parking.
