2008 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
Saturday, July 19th 2008
The PittStop MINI Club is once again actively involved in the 26th annual Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP). See the PVGP event website for a complete list of the PVGP activities that begin on Sunday, July 6, 2008. If you are not already aware, the reason behind the entire PVGP is to raise funds for its charities: the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Valley School. Not only do we enjoy the automotive and motorsports related things, but we are glad to help raise funds for the charities through these events.
We usually have at least a handful at BR. In recent years, MoP provides a small tent and brings the Mini Grille for us to BBQ some burgers and dogs on Saturday. Not sure what the formal plans are this year.
As for actually running in the autox, well, it seems a bit too competitive for my ability. Plus, it's just not gonna fit in the budget.
I run STX right now. I started in GS but then slowly added parts that kicked me out of the stock class. I'm sure from my signature you will be able to tell which parts kicked me out.
What class do you run?

I'm running SM (due to 15% pulley), otherwise just your standard suspension mods and intake/exhaust. Still a daily driver.
