Wedding Assistance: May 19, 2007: Lansdale, PA

Hi Guys n Gals,

I'm looking for some people that may be willing to assist my fiancee and I with our wedding on Sat, May 19th 2007. We're both MINI faithful and own an '05 MCS.

To make a long story short, our relationship started with, among other things, a strong mutual appreciation for the new MINIs. Events such as MOTD and MTTS are our own little special thing that we do apart from the rest of our friends (except our MINI friends). In keeping with that theme, we'd like to have a small little MINI tribute in our wedding by having a caravan of MINIs take our wedding party from the church to the reception site, instead of a limo.

However, we both are from far away (Southern Virginia and DC) and know few MINI owners from the Lansdale/Greater Philly area. We were hoping that with some small token of our appreciation and our deepest gratitude we might be able to get about 10 MINIs out to our wedding and to help us move from the church (Lansdale United Methodist) to our reception (Pinecrest Country Club). This would be in the 4:30-6:30 pm timeframe.

We'd like to have a few pictures with our wedding party and the rest of the MINIs at the reception site and then you all would be free to go.

I'm getting ready to go out of town for a few days, but if you are interested, would you mind posting below and/or sending me a pm (or email at eric [underscore] kennedy [at] vt [dot] edu).

Our only request is that hopefully we'd have some clean MINIs and friendly drivers to force our closest friends to hang out with for a short 15 minute drive. As I said, we'd like to offer some small token of our gratitude, which is still TBD.
