PhillyMINI Presents: The Lancastrian Railroad Rally | 4.14.07

Save the date for a day riding the rails!

We'll start in Downingtown, PA and follow the railroad and trolley lines out to Strasburg where you'll have your choice of spending the afternoon at the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum, enjoying a lunch dining on the Train or even shopping at the nearby outlets in Lancaster.

Date: Saturday, April 14th
Time: Meet 8:30am | Depart 9:00am
Meet Location: The Shops @ Brandywine Square in Downingtown

We'll meet in front of the Talbots in the Brandywine Square shopping center. You will see the MINIs lined up from the corner of Quarry Rd & Business Rt. 30. There is a Wawa across the street from The Shops @ Brandywine Square so you can gas up and get snacks for the ride prior to departure.

There will be a few stops on the way and you'll be treated to a history of the Pennsyvania Railroad as we drive some of the best backroads of Chester & Lancaster Counties. Covered bridges, Abandoned Railroad Right of Ways and even a few Amish buggies will be seen on this run!

Cost for the RR museum: Adults $7 | Kids $5 | Under age 6: Free
Cost for the train: Adults 12+, $13 | Kids 3-11, $8 | Toddler (under 3), $2
If you choose to dine aboard the train, cost of food is extra and the menu can be viewed here.

This event is free of charge to PhillyMINI members when they show their membercard/lanyard. The cost for non-members is $5. Rally fees will be collected prior to departure. Memberships will be available for purchase starting April 1st and will be available to purchase during check-in at this rally.

You can RSVP by clicking here. Please include the # in your party and your MINI specs (ie: o5 CR/b MC).
