Anything MINI on Thanksgiving?

I am coming back to my old stomping ground in and around Philly (Manayunk, Ardmore, Narberth etc) over Thanksgiving and was curious if there is anything MINI to attend?
This will be the first long road trip for my Cooper S.

well I don't think there are too many phillymini people that post regularly... but either way it looks like the weekend before and the weekend after thanksgiving both have stuff going on, but not that week. Maybe give the guys at helix a call and see if you can stop by and take a look around... talk about MINIs and whatnot. I'd also take a look around to see if there were any cruise nights or car shows going on around manyunk. also there are a few great places for nightlife in manyunk. the old club that was 'chemistry' is now 'grape st. pub' and has great live music. hope that helps at least a little bit!

I used to live on Grape Str and worked for WYBE TV 35 in Roxborough. I even bounced at a bar on Main Str.
So cruising in Manayunk should be fun.

Check PhillyMINI at the Yahoo Groups. Or better yet, check www.nemini.org.

Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!

Philly land of the Cheese Steak and the commuter train.

Old -Overbrook
Maids - Merion
Never - Narberth
Wed - Wynnewood
And - Ardmore
Have- Haverford
Babies- Bryn Mawr
Rarely- Rosemont

How I miss that Paoli local: "Ardmore next, Ardmore!!"

p.s. Hey Paul, is Roach & O'Brien's still around?

I used to love to go to Roach's.

Paul, I'll be in that pure silver Cooper S with black wheels and the Moskito plate. But you may actually hear my Borla Race purr and gurgle before you see me.

Most likely. Can't wait to get home and meet the crew. Of course, I can't drive yet. But that can't stop me from knowing WAAAAY more than my dad does. I get my permit soon enough, anyhow.

So, are we going to establish a meeting place/time or what? reply and PM me ppl, so we can set this up.

Herbert,

There was some talk of getting together for a run to Tony Luke's on Oregon, but now I'm not sure what is going on. If you are interested we could do that on the friday after Thanksgiving! Let me know and if anyone is interested I'll post it on the Philly MINI forum on yahoo.

I am surely interested in meeting some Philly motorers, so if a group is doing something fun on that Friday other than going to a mall, I'd like to join.
Cheers,
Herbert

Shoot, didn't get to this board until just now. Tony Lukes is on Oregon Avenue. Their website is tonylukes.com. It's 39 E. Oregon Ave. right near I95.
Hope to see you tonight!
