My wife and I would like to participate in the bridge run this weekend, but we aren't members yet. Could we bring the $25 membership fee to this event?
Are there specifics on where the run starts? The website says St Johns bridge at noon, but doesn't specify where people are meeting.
Yes, you can just bring the membership fee to the event, but RSVP to John and Diane Rockerhousen by Thursday the 11th so we can give an approximate number of attendees to the Skamania Lodge. Their email is rckrhsn@gte.net.

Here is the flyer on the event:
-- CABIN FEVER TOUR --
WE’RE BUSTIN’ OUTTA HERE !!!!
Enough of this winter stuff; it’s time to hit the road. The PDX MINI Bridge Run has been reformatted to allow MINI’s to expand their horizons. We will be starting at Jantzen Beach, going up the Columbia River on the north side to the Hood River Bridge (there’s your bridge) and returning home down the south side of the Columbia River through the falls.
Sunday 14 March 04 at 10:00 am. Take the I-5 Exit 308 to the Jantzen Beach Safeway Parking Lot. There will be the $5.00 entry fee, and rollout will be at 10:30 SHARP.
Lunch at the Skamania Lodge at approximately 11:30. The price range is $10.00 to $15.00 per person and children are welcome.
Roundup at the Hood River Bridge.
Alternate route homeward bound for those with time constraints.
125 miles of straights and corners. All driving styles will be accommodated but it will be a casual, not flat out, tour.
We strongly recommend that you bring your FRS/GMRS radio(s). We will be running on Channel 7, subchannel 21. This insures that we have complete communication during the tour, helps round up strays, and raises the fun level. After all that’s what this is all about – FUN !!
It is essential that participants follow proper etiquette if you are going to come out and play. This requires a phone call or e-mail to John & Diane Rockerhousen at rckrhsn@gte.net or 503.873.9261 by March 9th. Failure to do so means that you will be brown bagging it in the Skamania Lodge parking lot for lunch and sweeping up behind the elephants after the tour.
Mike, I'm glad that you posted this thread. I'm also interested in participating the event on 3/14. However, I tried to contact via email, but have yet to receive any reply. Now, there's a contacting phone #, I'll call tomorrow to confirm for the event.
What a great day!!! Hats off the John and Diane for putting together such a fantastic run! Thanks for getting us preferred parking at the lodge. What a hoot!
Thanks to everyone who joined us on the Cabin Fever Tour on Sunday! It was terrific seeing everyone and of course the "stars" of the run. A special thanks to John & Diane for doing a great job!! Anyone have pics of the run they can post? Thx! Kim
Yeah, that was defanitly a fun get together. We got some good ideas for our car just checking out all the stuff the rest of you guys have done. Dominating the lawn at the golf course was pretty impressive
We would have had pics, but we were too busy chasing our 2 year old around to get any! I can host pics and/or post them to this forum if anyone wants to send them to me. PM me for my email address.
In no particular order:
wheels
intake
pully (probably out of warranty)
antenna
maybe hood/roof graphic
a little more chrome, but not too much
braided brake lines
less dusty pads
maybe an exhaust
leather seat skins (I forgot to check out your aftermarket leather!)
other stuff i'm sure i'm forgeting
I'm not a member. On Sunday the 14th I crossed from Bingen to Hood River. The bridge attendant starts laughing and says you're late. I was driving my MCS so I guessed I must have missed a Mini Rally of some sort. I finally tracked you down. It sounds like you guys had fun. How many cars showed up? How often do you meet?
Hi Paul! Yes sorry you missed us as well. We had around 22 or 23 cars show for the "run". We had an awesome lunch at Skamania Lodge...we were a sight to see for sure. Hope to see you at one of our upcoming events.
