American Cancer Society Relay for Life July 24th & 25th 2010

PDX MINI Presents
American Cancer Society Relay for Life
July 24th & 25th 2010
10:00a.m to 10:00a.m
You never know how STRONG you are…until being strong is the ONLY choice you have.

Our Reason to Relay
Join us at the American Cancer Society Relay For Life® or make a donation to our team and help us support the fight against cancer! This year’s theme is Hope Floats. Debbie Smith has graciously volunteered to be our team captain.

Cancer touches all our lives and fighting it is a team effort. The impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone. By supporting our team, you will be a part of a life-changing event that celebrates the lives of those who have battled cancer, remembers loved ones lost, and empowers all of us to fight back against a disease that takes too much.

DETAILS:
Event Date and Time:
July 24th, 10:00am to July 25th, 10:00am

Here is where you need to choose:

1. You can join us at the Relay on our team PDX Mini. This is open to you, your family and your friends. You can either stay for the entire 24hrs or choose a time frame. We do have a tent for the overnighters to stay in. Signups for the team are here: Mighty Mini's Team Page

2. You can join us for the survivor lap at 6:15PM on Friday night and visit with us at our tent for a few minutes. You will need to sign up on the website as well to participate. Mighty Mini's Team Page

3. You can donate in support of our team. Mighty Mini's Team Page

4. You can purchase a Luminaria (The light of hope) for $10.00 a piece. This will be lit during the Ceremony of Hope and celebrate the survivorship of people who have battled cancer and lived to tell the tale. Many commemorate the lives of those who have been lost to this disease.

Event Location
Valley Catholic High School
4440 SW 148th Avenue
Beaverton, OR 97007
Located on the corner of Murray and TV Hwy in Beaverton
