Who all went to the PIR re-opening?

Did anyone go to the PIR re-opening or the PCA Trackday on Sunday? Impressions on the track? I heard 7 is really different, really sharp with a late turn in. I hope it's still a 3rd gear turn as my heel-toe skills are weak and I have a hard enough time downshifting in time for the chicane.

I too would like to know. I was at the Alta opening and had figured I would go to PIR a bit later that afternoon but was told by some that were there in the morning that it was real crowded. So I bailed on going out there.

The pictures don't really give you any real idea how the new layout works.

I was there for the reopening day day put on by friends of PIR. I'm new to Oregon and have never been to the track before but I did walk it and take the parade laps. 7 I think thats the turn goes onto the back strait/curve is really wide at the in the intrance then narrows by about a 3rd at the exit and it will require a pretty late turn in. The surface is glass smooth. Very nice track over all
