Maple Valley

I'm from MV but my Fiance and I get out that way White Water rafting all summer. We'll probably be bringing the car out that way once or twice.

Cashmere! Woop Woop!

Hey there! I think I might know who the Cashmere MINI owner might be, Wakewen! Ha! I too, live in Cashmere and love the MINI Cooper. I just traded in my 2003 red MC for a new 2011 and picked it up Wednesday. LOVE IT! Didn't realize how nice a new MINI could actually be. I would love to meet other MINI folks in the area and talk shop. Being a "girl," I have a lot to learn and would love to know where everyone is getting their MINI serviced? I have 3 years at the dealer, but then where? So...let's motor or at least talk!

That's me spleena! Can't wait to see your new mini. My wife and I would love to see it. She is a major mini girl too. As for getting work done on our mini, it is called my garage. I just replaced the AC compressor, serpentine belt, and changed out the installed a cold air intake and put on a 15% supercharger pulley! I made a belt tensioner tool if anyone out there needs to borrow it. Had to raise the engine up to do it. I was told that Leonard Evans works on minis. Had my oil changed their once, but they also charged me for 7 quarts of oil though it takes 4.3 qts. They refunded the difference once I pointed it out. Not sure if they were trying to get away with charging more or if it was an honest mistake. Also there is Global Car Car that advertises that they work on minis. Haven't taken anything to them though. See you around.

Wenatchee

I'm in Wenatchee and purchased a 2010 Cooper S British Green with Black stripes last August. I love it!

I had the same questions...are you just driving over to the mini dealer in seattle to get your car serviced? I bought mine used, but only had 3500 miles...do I really need to drive over to the dealer just for things like an oil change?

Your call

Welcome to the Mini world!!! I'll look for you around town.

You will need to make that decision. But for myself I do not. There are a few places that will service minis. When I don't change the oil myself I take it to Leonard Evans. I haven't tried Global Car Care yet, but they advertise that they service minis. Since yours is most likely still under factory warrenty you might have to make the trek to Tacoma.

I've heard that the Nissan dealership in Wenatchee services minis. Has anyone had any experience with them?

I don't live in Wenatchee anymore (went to high school there over a decade ago), but I was just back there with the R56 justaCooper.

Got a set of Blizzaks from ****'s Tires on Wenatchee Avenue and stored the OEM all-seasons with the folks as they have room in their garage.

Edit: Really, NAM. That's the name of the place. Your censorship is ridiculous.
