Still have not washed it since the Deal's Gap rally since I knew that I would be putting 500 miles on the car on Friday. So now I am thoroughly filthy and bug spalttered. The only thing that has helped was some motoring in the flooding downpours we had the other day here in birmingham.

Ok. Decision made: clean the MINI in the sunshine and get the heck out of the house!

Before and after pics to follow!

I agree! Clean the MINI!

A cluttered house is easily forgiven when friends drop by,

but a filthy dirty MINI .... oh the horror of it could scar people for the rest of their lives!

EEK, just the thought is frightening

Not everyone will see the inside of you house, but they will see the outside of your Mini.

Normally, this is a no-brainer - clean the MINI! However, it being Mother's Day weekend, clean the house first, then the MINI and go out somewhere nice in style.

I'm gonna hold off on the housecleaning until tomorrow and go motoring for a little while.

Since my first date in months stood me up today (not feeling well) for a trip to the art museum to see the Tibetan monks finish and then destroy a huge sand mandala, I think a little motoring across town and maybe picking up a new DVD and watching it with the animals might be the pick me up I need. . . .

The Mandala was amazing. It was about 6 feet across and had taken a dozen monks a week to finish the design. When finished, they chanted for a while and then the master monk destroys it the sand is swept up with a brush into a little pile. They gave small bags of the sand away afterwards.

Hmmm... these don't have to be mutually exclusive events...

Yesterday I just alternated between house and MINI! Vacuum a room... apply a coat of Zaino; wash dishes... apply a coat of Zaino; do laundry... apply a coat of Zaino!

Voila! now everything is done and I can play!!!

I definitely vote for cleaning the Mini. I'm going to be walking behind my 1983 Honda lawnmower, and wishing it was a Mini. Please clean the Mini on behalf of all the Mini owners in waiting!

In Hawaii it is "against" the law to show a MINI in public in a dirty or otherwise unpresentable state.
So go wash your mini. You can drive around gas stations, churches and shopping centers looking for any "money raising" hand car wash groups that would be willing and able to get a chance to touch your mini. Supervise them to ensure no harm is done

I clean my mini daily and sometimes more I still have it and it is now 9 years old with 100,000 miles on it but no one thinks it is new anymore I gotta send you some of that poof clean powder someday- it doesn't really ship well though. It only works best on an island surrounded in all directions by water for some 3000 miles

My decision today was whether to cut the lawn or wash the MINI. Wonder if there's an aftermarket grasscutter attachment for the Cooper- then I could Motor and Mow
