The Paddle is tingling with anticipation for the Blue Ribbon Panel meeting! And the whip is eager to participate, too.

Will someone please pass the champagne? I've just completed a run on our indoor mock-up of 89A between Oak Creek Canyon and Flagstaff and I'm a bit parched...

Cognac? Cigars? Champagne? Now you're just being mean! (DISCLAIMER: This post has been reviewed and approved by the "No NAMer left behind committee" as appropriate in content and in no way associated with gratuitous posting simply to gain entry into the 6th gear lounge).

By the way, does this lounge have a name?

Drink up Toastie. Your times were just engraved on the Conservancy "Wall of Fame". Broke your old record by 17 seconds by gott!

Huzzah!

You know, I really felt it was a good run -- in my gut. Champagne's on me, everyone!

... oh wait... it's always free here...

Drink up!

Some days, when I have had a bad work day, I just hang out in the lounge and watch the Minis/MINIs run in the fields.

edit: apparently I've also had champagne on OmToast - apparently that was NOT in moderation.

ProfDave, be a good lad and fetch a double-double. My old limbs are a tad sore today. I'll PM you the key code for the foyer, have the consierge ring me when you arrive. Maybe, when you drop off the burger, I'll let you peek inside for a moment.

(don't muck this up, it may be your big chance to become a pool-boy!)

Hm...

Professor: I don't really eat beef, so could you make mine a black bean double-double (also protein-style) -- and I'll have a bag of BBQ baked chips and triple thick vanilla malt. I'm famished - Uncle JOhn, I'm so glad you thought to order out!

When I get there I will bring my super-duper bigass grill and smoker combination. I can have fresh seafood and aged steaks flown in on a daily basis.

I thought moderation was what us moderators did, not something to do with drinking.

It takes 1100 to get into The Lounge? Crap, I thought it was 1000. I better start posting inane brainless remarks in every thread like, well, like some people do.

Nice try, but you will not find out the actual name until membership has been earned. You've probably never heard of a NAM'r named Zappa. That's because he found out and had to be terminated with extreme prejudice.

For now, I can just advise that you continue to call it the 6th gear lounge. Alternatively, you could use the name non-Nam members use, The Former Hearst Mansion.

BTW, soon to open is the 6th Gear Lounge Midwest. That estate will be towering above Lake Michigan in Penderconsin.
