Today I came to the closest place I could escape to, my family's house in Bay Harbor, MI. It really started to get me thinking on how nice of a life I really have. I came here to relax, play golf, and to get away from IN as long as I possibly could. I know some of you have places like this... Where are they? Let's see 'em!
The first one is at the house I'm typing from right now, in Bay Harbor, MI:
Here is one of the other much farther away escape and "Retirement Home" in Kiawah Island, SC:
If you can't find me in those places, you'll prolly find me here, my real home away from home, the golf course:
Let see those places that you go to relax and have fun...

It's just a little manufactured trailerhome, but koolmini and I consider it our home away from home!

What a quaint little spot you have. Makes my garden shed look a little humble
The Monroe County Detention Facility is my home away from home...that's me fingerprinting an "inmate" (actually it was a clerk we threw a shirt on and told her to stand there...not a very good "training" picture , my keys are on the wrong side...) That's me in a male housing unit; there were 93 of those critters in that unit. When there is a hurricane, all certified officers ride it out here while everybody else evacuates. The longest I have had to stay is about 30 days...it's a tie between Hurricanes Georges and Wilma. It was the wierdest thing to stand on the balcony and watch full sized SUVs bob around the parking lot like rubber ducks when Wilnma's storm surge (about 12') rolled over....

Don't want to be a braggart, but what the heck......this is where I go to get away from it all. (And she's on payments, no sir my daddy doesn't have to die for me to own this baby)
