Your Random thought of the Day!

Sometimes I have the most random thoughts, that is attributed to a serious medical condition that I have though, so I have an excuse.

The purpose of this thread is to answer some of those spur of the moment questions you come up with, hopefully alot of knowledge may be gained.

Okay so here's my first question, why does my computer make a clicking noise when it's doing things?

So... ask or answer any random thought you or someone else randomly thinks of...

Mikey aka "Puka"

George Carlin

I have a George Carlin desk cal.
Really is RANDOM ...

Here is my favorite.

Remember in driving school they told you to keep your hands at 10 oclock and 2 oclock.
FORGET THAT
Put 1 hand at 9.45 and the other at 2.15 ...
That way you have about 30 min extra time to get to where your going.

That's not your computer. What you are hearing of little bits of brain falling and shattering on your skull. That's why, when people get older, they don't hear so well anymore. All the brains have fallen and shattered, and start clogging up the ears. Really, it's true - I read it on wikipedia!

If you are the Captain, then I am the General!

Why is it when I have an appointment for the next day, that I still feel the need to rebel and go to bed LATER THAN EVER, rather than get a good night's sleep?

co-operation: everyone doing what I tell them to do.

Actually, computers make no noise when doing things. The computer (CPU) sounds of the electrons moving about is silent to your ears.

Your hearing the disk drive head reading (or writing)...
