Okay all you MCOer's...here it is! Long overdue, we must say!
MINI Girl Talk!!!!
Here's everyones chance to talk about MINIs, and us girls who love them...hehe. We'll be touching on some topics that will be inappropriate for young children, so watch out!! We'll be discussing the MINI, of course, and various "girl things." If you have a question, just ask us! We'll be more than happy to give you our opinions! We'll be throwing some topics out for discussion every now and then, too.
Sooo...without further adieu, Let's get this party started!!

Oh my goodness..... This should be good. I'm just sorry I can't participate as I'm at work right now...

To Mae West, wearing the most stunning array of jewlery:
"Goodness Ms. West, those sure are some beautiful jewles you got there."

Mae West, in reply:
"Honny, 'Goodness' had nothing to do with it."

... pretty slow so far ... but - I didn't ask in the 'MINI a girly car?' thread and this seems like a better place for advice from those in the know: is the fitted luggage a 'girly' thing? .. I'm tempted but haven'y bought it yet ...

ok ladies i have a question, and i'm serious here:

my girlfriend finds that her nails scratch the plastic pseudo-metal looking ring around the logo on the steering wheel. her nails are not excessively long... it seems this piece of platic has very thin paint on it that chips off easily.

have any of you mini girls had a similar expereince?

thanks,

curt + jamie

Well, in my opinion, the luggage is not too girly...now, if it were Barbie pink, now, that might be a bit too much, unless you are a guy who is totally in tune with his feminine side. Luggage that actually fits in the boot is hella good!!!

Well, Curt and Jamie,

I have not experienced this problem, but it does seem to have the potential for nastiness. I have experienced that when getting into my MINI, my 3 and 4 inch heels always seem to bump the side speaker, thus causing little scratches...

All in the name of fashion.............

I agree with Mully...I don't think the luggage is too "girly." I actually think its a very nice looking set of luggage...just a little expensive!
