Did anyone hear some kids were dropping bowling balls off of an overpass somewhere in Nebraska? I just caught the tail end but can you believe that? Apparently someone got hurt real bad! What goes through these peoples minds?

Well...seeing as how the Huskers (relatively) suck this year, there's not much esle to do in Nebraska but drink or go bowling.
Orfeu,
I just checked your profile...which bar do you tend in Lincoln?
I moved to Vegas from Lincoln.

Awhile back in my area, some idiots were throwing blocks of cement from poorly maintained bridges onto traffic. (I guess they were protesting the poorly maintained bridges...NOT!!! :evil

Another stupid group of people got their BB and pellet guns and started shooting at traffic. The problem is that these people, probably kids, have no empathy. What if you or your family were on the receiving end of such cruel behavior?

This is an old trick. Many a striking truck driver has thrown Bowling Balls, Cynder Blocks, and other heavy items off of HWY overpasses to discourage scab drivers from that route. I have heard of entire wheel & tire assemblies being hurled at scab drivers from overpasses.

More damaging than sugar in the tank, or water in the oil....
