Dave,
Great shots. Come to Hawaii, we have lots of nice sunsets. You might not want to leave, so bring your MINI with you.

Wow, those are great! Yup, Hawaii has some AWESOME sunsets....... I was just in LA (arrived back in Hawaii last night) and LAX looked nothing like that yesterday (11/11). You have great timing. Now that I think of it, 11/10 was the clearest day out of my 6 day So Cal vacation!!!
Oh yeah, DiD, you live in Santa Monica.....I was at the 3rd Street Promonade the other night and saw a homeless lady and her psychic cat. I wanted to get a reading done, but there was a line. Can you imagine??? Anyways, I think Santa Monica was the best part of my vacation.
Sorry for going off the subject....but I just had to mention!
Let me tell you about my night last night. I work just across the street (south side) from LAX at Boeing in El Segundo. My building has no windows in it, so while I knew it was raining, I thought it had just been sprinkling like it had been when I was out at lunch. I got out of work at 5:30, came out side, saw a few sprinkles and didn't think much of it. I drove home, encountered no street flooding and no heavy rain. It seemed just like any other day. Then I turned on the news and tried to figure out how what they were showing meshed with what I had just seen on my drive home. Screwy.
