Lexus' Crash Landing

The sales staff at this Lexus dealership speak 20 languages, but even they were lost for words when a customer pressed the throttle instead of the brake of his new GS430, hit an entry ramp at 85mph and flew into a row of cars. Amazingly, no one was injured, but the motors were less fortunate: 18 were damaged, including six write-offs, and the Californian dealer now faces a massive repair bill.

What a ridiculous story. Was this supposed to be some kind of accident. You don't accidently press the accelerator and reach 85 MPH only to cause this!!???

No kidding, I mean, hasn't anyone ever watched Back to the Future? That DeLorean took that entire mall parking lot to hit 85.
