We did this a few years back, and it was tons of fun, so I'm going to try to organize it again.
If you would like to participate please PM me your mailing address and a valid email address. Everyone who participates will get everyone else's address. If you are scared one of your fellow NAMers are going to come knocking on your door, I'd suggest not participating.
The deadline to send in your address will be Friday, November 27th, 2009. I will then send out the final list of participants (via email) to everyone that provided their mailing and email addresses by the end of the week. I know it seems very early, but I just want to make sure everyone has enough time to get their cards put together and sent out so they arrive around the world on time.
Please note that the last time we did this we had about 75 participants, which meant that the total cost was about $50 including postage, envelopes and the cards. I understand that our economy isn't the best, so if that is a bit too much for you, I'd suggest not participating. Just to be fair, wouldn't be fair for one motorer to send out 75 cards and only get 5 back.
Cards are completely up to you, whether you hand make your cards from scratch, or buy a box from the dollar store you are welcome to participate in the exchange. No matter what holiday you celebrate you are welcome to participate, Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice. It doesn't matter.
This was tons of fun before, and certainly has potential to be tons of fun again.
So, after a week we have 4 people including myself. What happened to NAM
NAM, the NAM you and I remember, has been gone for some time now. I came to this thread to see if anyone is doing it and I guess not. Perhaps Motoring Alliance may have more takers this year.
9 total people signed up this year. If you signed up (up to today) I have emailed you the list.
If you have not received the list check your spam folder for an email title "NAM Holiday Card Exchange List" from Jeremy1026@gmail.com. If its not there, shoot me a PM and I'll get it out to you again.
Too bad I didn't see this thread a little sooner.
We have about the same amount signed up on Sunshineminis.org, we could
have combined the lists to come up with at least 18 exchanges.
every year i post it in the "getting to know fellow owners" board section after you log in at the owner's lounge - normally i post just after halloween, but this year i was a little late

I wasn't aware of a MINI USA card exchange... Where was it posted?
