Question--Does Frankenstein still qualify as a zombie since he was *technically* alive after death, but not really undead...?

Looks like I made it in too late. Everyone's asleep!

Not too much is new on my end. I bought a new shotgun this afternoon - it took me all morning and part of the afternoon going to the various stores in town to figure out which one I wanted. Ended up with a 12 gauge Benelli Nova pump action.

Also helped my neighbor with his Dodge Dakota...I installed new fuel injectors in it, and replaced the spark plugs while I was there. It's running on all 8 cylinders again. Yay!

Lastly, my gf and I went bowling (colored pin). We met up with some friends and it was a good time. My bowling sucked tonight (partially because I bowled left-handed for an entire game), but it was really nice to drop the seriousness of everyday life and have a jolly good time.

And Leslie - no, I didn't eat Bambi's mom. The venison I ate was from a buck (so I guess you can say it was Bambi's dad or brother...). I know it can be a touchy subject, but I actually prefer to eat wild game - I feel it's a more humane way to eat meat. The animals aren't loaded up with junk like steroids, and are actually able to live something that resembles a life - unlike most of the beef/cattle we end up buying at the grocery store.

Hopefully you don't take this the wrong way - I do hunt on occasion, but it's not about the kill for me (though it can be for some folks ). I actually really dislike that part - it's always a somber moment for me right after I've pulled the trigger. It's because of this that I only hunt for subsistence, (as in I eat what I hunt - and try to minimize waste). I never go hunting for recreation - it doesn't serve me any purpose, and that's disrespectful for the animals in my eyes.

Anyway...it's 1am and I should really get to sleep. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Chat w/ you soon!

Why am I awake? I should be sleeping.. I technically went to bed at 9 but didn't fall asleep until around 10 and now I'm awake.

Darren, I like animals too. In fact, I think they're pretty tasty. I would never judge you on the way that you choose to obtain your meat since that's pretty common out there. The whole "Bambi's mom" comment was meant as a joke. Now I personally would never go hunting but that's only because I'm accident-prone and thus should never be allowed anywhere near a gun (or even knives or anything sharp and pointy).

As a related note I am now hungry. What the hell can I eat at nearly 4am that isn't cereal?

Gotta get Lady G's shoes rotated today. Gotta feed the pups and haul my tushie outta here.

Gonna grab something to eat and a latte and eat it at Sears while I wait for her. How's that for ambiance??

It's a glorious day here, too. Will probably take a little drive, too.

Surprisingly I'm really good with needles. I could use more practice with IVs though.

The guy at the counter asked me if I sold chocolate or rode horses.

It's Kaplan time. I told myself that I'd spend at least 2 hrs/day on my Kaplan review this week. I plan on increasing the # of hours as I get closer to my exam date (sometime in January).
