Anyone good with Photoshop? We will need a club logo. I know where we can get magnetic badges for the grill badge holders made up.

My 2 cents. I think from a marketing stand, "Northern Indiana MINIacs" is your best bet for a larger club down the road.
There are also lots of people on ebay selling logos for less than $50.00, I'd check that out and get one done by a pro.
One Logo idea, is the words, Northern Indiana MINIacs above an image of interstate 80/90 or state road 20, 6, 30, something that runs across the northern part of the state. Could also put interstate sign 80 on one side and 90 on the other side.
Wow, a club for NWI, pretty cool . I agree with Dave, a name such as Northwest Indiana, or Northern Indiana MINIacs would be better or more universal for the area.
I'm still waiting for Peggy to post her thoughts here. She is the one I met on the MINIUSA Owners Lounge. We talked about making an official club. They had an unofficial gathering of 10+ MINIs in Valparaiso last month.
Once we get a logo, we can find a vinyl shop to cut some logos for us.
I could see the toll road type logo if we go the Northern Indiana route. I was also thinking the NW Indiana outline... "Lake Michigan Divot" in the Indiana shape. If we were to go Northwestern Indiana route.

O.K. I hope I'm doing this right! Anyhow, I was thinking that a cool logo for NWI MINIacs would be to design it based on the Southshore Posters. I thought that we could have a small graphic representing each of the counties (i.e. Steel Mills from Lake Co., Dunes from Porter Co., and Touchdown Jesus or something from St. Joe (that is St. Joe Co. isn't it?). I am very excited about this group-it started with me stalking down strangers in MINIs and passing out flyers in an attempt to organize an event last month. We ended up with 10 cars and Parked at Target in Valpo. What a hoot! Thanks Dr. Diff for being the liason for our NAM site!!!!!! Let me know what you all think about the logo idea. Happy motoring!!!
Welcome Peggy Remember this is as much your forum as it is mine!
Multiple Logos.... HMM....

No, not multiple logos but rather a combination of each packed into one-like start with the mills (picture of a mill with smog belching out of the chimney-that sounds pretty), maybe with a dune scene overlay, with Touchdown Jesus or whatever for the next overlay. In front we can have either the SS tracks or Rt. 6 (I like that idea cause 6 is actually a part of Rt. 66 and that's just cool) and have a MINI motoring on the road with our name on it somewhere. The mini would stand out in front of the other stuff somehow. Just a thought-I got a friend who's an artist, I can have her draw out some sketches.
poor little ford...it was frolicking through the cornfield...little did it know the MINI was circling in for the kill...da dum da dum dum dum dum dum DADADA!
The corn thing has been done by MINI. The commercial shows an '07 driving through a cornfield. The next shot has popcorn shooting out of the cabin vents. When the couple get back on the road the guy says to the girl, "You said you were hungry." I'm not sure if this will work. It didn't last time I tried. You can find it the France MINI site, look for films. http://www.mini.fr/fr/fr/download_ga...ge/content.jsp
