Hi, I live in Evansville right now...however I claim Valpo, well chesterton really. I'm a big VW guy and I'm moving from one darkside to another. I use to autocross my Corrado with the NWI chapter and figure a few of those minis back then are still around on here....so, I'm just poking in to see the locals. I'm up in the region monthly, although I don't have a mini yet, I am working at it. I'm selling or trading my A4 for one. That is all.

Welcome to NAM!! That's one long commute from Evansville to Valpo once a month. When you get your MINI be sure to post some pics and let every one know all about your new ride.

The commute isn't to horrible, it's right around 5 hours. I'll be back up in the region for good come the middle of December. I'm really looking forward to getting into a nice MCS. Can't wait, and of course pics will be posted
If you know of any MINI roads in NW Indiana let us know!

LOL at stagecoach road. I use to run my Jetta and Corrado all up and down that.....I'm digging the site...needs a background color or something though :P I'm just glad that there is a scene, although not as big as the VW scene, it is a scene non-the-less, so yeah, I'm excited to start motoring
I do know of a few good roads....they are all east of 49 in the chesterton area. Also, I always liked US 12 from Michigan City on down to Burns. What others are there......There was a crazy road in between us30 and rt10....from Valpo towards Kouts...it had some amazing turns in it...no traffic, no blind curves....favorite so far..let me try to find it via google maps....it's worth the drive IMO.
