The Redwood Empire starts just north of San Francisco and technically ends in Humbolt County or maybe even a little farther north (the area of the coast redwoods). For practicle purposes we also include additional inland counties, all told, Marin, Sonoma, Napa, & southern Mendocino County.... including Lake County if there are ever any MINIs there.

Those signed up to date are primarily from Sonoma County, but 1 or 2 from Napa as well. Because there is no formal MINI club in the North Bay area, this is our informal one. It will also be a local meetup point for Norcal MINIs, Gold Country and MOASF for their runs and activities. If there is ever any additional interest, this could also be a starting point for a more formal North Bay Area club.

We have had runs around Jenner and Occidental, and tomorrow to Calistoga.

As far as joining everyone in SF at 2am Sunday morning... not a chance but thanks anyway. If we do it again in the spring when weather is nice and about 3 or 4am, so we can go for breakfast afterward, count me in. Winter at 2am... I am just going to bed about then. I hope you guys have a blast and I look forward to seeing photos posted at Gold Country.

We had a great time. 4 MINIs and 7 people... an outstanding drive, lunch, and great conversation. I am looking forward to next month.

Thanks

Had a nice time. This was my first oppertunity to meet other mini owners in the area and we had a very nice time. Hit many of my favorite local roads!

Do we have ideas for December yet. It should be a rainy run, maybe Bodega? Hwy 1 is always fantastic in the winter, with the fog and all.

I really enjoyed meeting you all, thanks for organizing Zied.

If you have a specific route in mind, email it to me with a meeting point and I'll post it online, unless you want me to come up with one.

I love driving the coast as well. If we start north (maybe Skaggs Spring Road, to Fort Ross down hwy 1) or even just River Road to Jenner south... but we could return via Tomales and Petaluma...

could be a fun run
