I've been eying your work for a long time and just had the good fortune to move into the Bay Area. I'd love to come check out the new shop and talk about some options for my Cooper; what hours are you planning on keeping that day? I ask as I had also wanted to hook up with a crew in Palo Alto for a cruise that day that wraps up around 12:30.
Hope to be able to celebrate the grand opening with you

Happy to hear I'll be able to catch the meat of the opening. The run's an open group, but I found it posted up on here by M3Dragon (Adam), so I'm hoping to see a decent MINI turnout.
Details of the Palo Alto run are in the thread below, in case anyone who's planning on checking out the new shop wants to spend the morning doing something interesting instead of just waiting for the doors to open: http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...day-event.html
Good luck getting everything set for the big day, Lyle- see you then.
Added Thought.....
For those of you who don't know Lyle and his business, he doesn't just work on MINI's. I've seen his stuff on Lambo's, BMW's etc.. and his work is TOP SHELF!!
If there is anyone who deserves the success, it's Lyle, AND wife Shannon!
yeh i me and a buddy of mine will prob go to the stanford meet then head to lyless... congrats again to you lyle and to shannon ill see you guys soon...

I'll second that, Jim! Dropped by the grand opening today and really dug the new shop and the group vibes (good seeing a few of you REME folks there, too).
It was great to finally put a face with the name for Lyle and to meet his wife Shannon- how can you not want people this nice too succeed? I couldn't help but leave with a little something...
Speaking of which, Jim- I know the car was filthy and dinged up, but if you happen to want to throw up any of those pictures you snapped while Lyle was doing my ultra-quick install, I'd love to see them.
Best of luck guys- Nikki will be in touch for those recipes Shannon promised very soon.
Thanks for all the kind words guys, and to all of you who made it out to our opening. We truly appreciate the support.
We need to snag a few templates from an R56, so if anyone wants to swing by, it would be much appreciated.
I was doing 100 different things on Saturday and it slipped my mind.

I can definitely get down to the shop again, Lyle. I have some free time this week if that works. Let me know!
