The SCCA is holding it's vintage races at Infineon (Sears Point) September 20-21. These races will include the 6th Annual Mini Challenge. The Mini Challenge will have drivers Joe Huffaker, Mike Kearney, Doug Peterson, Randy Arbogast and others.
These races are FREE for spectators. Yes that's FREE!!!
The Mini Challenge will be Group 1 of the seven racing groups. Here are the times the Minis will be on track:
Saturday 8:30-8:50AM Practice 12:50-1:15PM Qualifying race
Sunday 8:30-8:50AM Practice 2:10-2:35 PM Feature Race

We are a two MINI/Mini family, so I enjoy the best of both worlds. That being said I may very well attend this event in my 2004 MINI, but as Peter points out, the classic Minis will be racing. I enjoy good racing, especially MINI or Mini and when it is FREE I like it even more.
Both MINIs and Minis will be welcome and encouraged to attend.
