Larry, we have at least 2 cars to join the pack in Healdsburg. If you are meeting in SF at 8am and leave by 8:30am, you should be in Healdsburg by 10am, leave Healdsburg by 10:30am, which would put you in Fort Bragg on that route by about 1pm for a late lunch.

Larry, if you want to monitor our discussion or post updates re: this trip, please see http://www.redwoodempiremini.com/mbb...egory-view.asp
I am telling REME members to meet in Healdsburg at 10am unless you tell me differently.

Meetup #1 will be in San Francisco at 645am leaving at 7am sharp. Meet at Chrissy Field (take Marina west to Mason) take a right off Mason into the East Beach parking lot. We will take 101 north across the Golden Gate staying on 101 to Healdsburg. In Healdsburg we will meetup with somemore MINIs at Vineyard Plaza by Starbucks (p/coffee stop)(this is by the central Healdsburg onramp to 101 north) We leave there at 830am sharp. We will then head north on 101 to Drycreek Rd (the next exit). From there we take Skaggs Springs/Stewarts Point Rd to the coast. We should be at Hwy1/Stewarts Point around 915am.(p stop) We should get to Mendocino around 1130 or so. We will stop there for awhile so people can see the town and have lunch at a place of their choice. At 3pm we will head to Fort Bragg and check in at the hotel. I have arranged a private tour of the Northcoast Brewery at 4pm followed by dinner there at 5pm. The brewery has reserved their banquet room for us. Its a nice place, family friendly, casual dress is fine. Sunday morning breakfast at the hotels coffeeshop and some time to check out Fort Bragg. We will leave town at 11am heading south on hwy1 to hwy 128 this will take us through the Anderson Valley At hwy 101 we head south a short distance and take 128 east again into the wine country. In St. Helena we can stop at Taylors Refresher for lunch MMMMM. SAFETY NOTE. I preran this last weekend. Skaggs Springs Rd. is posted 30mph and I saw wild pigs and deer on the road. So space yourselves and keep your eyes on the road. Full Tanks and radios if you have them. We will be on channel 7-0. I'll have the cell 510-919-8889. See you there, Larry

Hi Larry,

We will have 3-6 cars meeting NorCal in Healdsburg (I will keep you informed) on Saturday morning. While you are taking the 11:30am - 3:30 break in Mendocino on Saturday, REME will lead a group of whomever is interested in a side drive on backroads to Booneville and back (if Janet goes, she will be joining the group in Mendocino). We will still meetup with everyone else at the motel in Fort Bragg at about 3:30pm prior to the Brewery tour and dinner.

REME will also have a slight variation Sunday on the drive home, upon arriving in Cloverdale, we will take a spirited mountain drive into Napa Valley, led by Howard. Our Central & Sacramento Valley, and Bay area REME members will be following Howard all the way to Highway 80, and anyone else is welcome to join him. Maps will be available for download from our website prior to the run.

Rick, Rick, Rick...

I'm so sorry you're so sick. Yes, I'm going to take all your money and go to Hawaii with it too.

And then we'll off to Japan!!

And when it say after, it means after; yesterday, today, next week or next year!!

Howard, Norm, and I will be joining the NorCal group in Healdsburg (Glenn will you meet us there as well?). I know that Norm and I have made reservations at the motel already. We have maps available for download on our website for the REME side trips at http://redwoodempiremini.com/calendar.htm or on the REME MegaBBS at http://www.redwoodempiremini.com/mbb...id=71&posts=15.

Who's going to be joining us at the California Autumn Classic in San Juan Bautista on October 15-16? It's a great show in the heart of NorCals membership area.

We had fun! Thanks to Larry (from Norcal) for planning the run to Fort Bragg and a big thanks to Howard for the additional REME runs to Willits and Ukiah. We had a couple of beautiful side trips! The motel accomodations were a wonderful surprize, both clean, maintained, and recently remodeled!

It was great seeing Keith and Ann again, a chance for everyone to meet our new members Norm & Jessica, and seeing everyone from Norcal. Glenn again gets the award for the most dedicated driver traveling all the way from South Lake Tahoe (thank you for the great coffee and company).

thanks Larry

It was a great weekend run up to Fort Bragg. I had never been to that area and the roads and scenery were worth every minute behind the wheel. It was good to meet other MINI fans from Redwood Empire club. Can not wait for next run!
