Detailers Warehouse joins NAM!

Detailers Warehouse features a collection of detailing supplies and tools to help you maintain the appearance of your MINI. Started by MINI enthusiasts; we have put together what we consider to be the very best selection of what we know works. Products from PRIMA, 303, Mother’s, Porter Cable and more can be found at reasonable prices. Let us know if we can be of any help with specific questions or possibly sponsor an event in your area.

Cool.

Competition is the cornerstone of capitalism.

Man, this post has a lot of "C" words in it.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.... upon close examination, it appears we don't have competition. We have collusion.

These prices are exactly the same as those on DP's website. AND... the photos appear to be exactly the same.

If you read the "About Us" section of the DW site, it talks about how they met the DP crew at the Dragon, and afterward decided to open a Prima Franchise. They probably use the same stock photos provided by Prima that DP uses.

As for the prices, I'm guessing that either the prices are contractually-fixed as part of the franchisee agreement with Prima, or that both DP and DW simply decided to use the MSRP from Prima.

Yeah... Collusion.

Well, given that DP has much more selection, I'm trying to figure out what benefit it would be to order from DW. Same products, same prices... less selection. Although it does appear the bundles are packaged slightly different. So, I guess if they have a bundle that meets your needs more accurately...

I know when Jason at CooperSport began selling Prima he came up with a bundled package with a pretty good price and a little different selection than any of the Detailers Paradise packages. So I bought two of them and saved shipping by picking them up from Heather at the DP store. Perhaps Detailers Warehouse will do the same.
The hook, or reason, you would buy from DW or for that matter OctaneGuy is that you are either close enough that you can stop in and pick up your order and thus save shipping, or they carry something that you want to combine with your Prima order like OG's Black WOW or his Dirt Guards. Then, since you are buying those items any way you might as well throw some Prima in with it.
It all comes from the same honey pot and all our money eventually ends up with Finn (Heather's doggie who is working his way though college and saving up to buy a limited edition Snoopy print and a Lambo).

Detailers Warehouse is located in Florida and is running regional advertising in the South East. They will also be at MOTD 2008 from what I've heard. Detailer's Paradise has more of a national presence (visibility everywhere) on the site and obviously worked out a distributor arrangement with Detailers Warehouse as well. The folks at Detailers Warehouse are just like Heather and Nick...great to work with!

Welcome Jonathan & Marc at Detailers Warehouse! We're thrilled that Detailers Warehouse has decided to carry the Prima line and even more thrilled that they have decided to join the NAM community along with the rest of us.

Indeed, as MiniMaybee pointed out... by having various sources of Prima (and all the other good stuff they carry), customers have choices.

For example, it takes longer for us (as in Detailers Paradise) to ship packages to Florida than any other state (yes, including Hawaii!). That's just the way DHL operates. Many of our customers need their goods quickly (often by the weekend) and we simply can't do that very well for folks in Florida. In comes Detailers Warehouse to the rescue!

Plus, Detailers Warehouse can attend events in the Southeast that we cannot. Again, more options for you!

In addition, we Prima retailers do all offer variations on our kits and bundles- again, more variation and options for the customer.

Our Prima division (aka "me" with a different hat on!) chooses its retailers carefully. We are confident that Detailers Warehouse will take wonderful care of its customers!

Although we sincerely appreciate the loyalty to DP and the kind words, I'm certain Detailers Warehouse will offer superb customer service and I hope you will give them a try.

-Heather (as a fellow NAM vendor, while alternating between her DP hat and her Prima hat )

Hey there everyone! I'm Marc and co-owner of Detailers Warehouse!

Pretty much, we are everything Heather has said. Just an East Coast distributor of PRIMA, and soon to be many other products as well!!

We test and use every product that we sell on our own MINIs, and only sell products that we KNOW work. The PRIMA line just happend to be the first line that we picked up.

So basically, Detailers Warehouse is a simple collection of detailing products that we know work well. Also, shipping costs will be cheaper for people living in the South East - East Coast areas.

So stop on by! We'll be carrying more products quite soon (big order just put in) and will be putting new products up constantly!!

Greetings All!!!

Sorry for the delay in our first post here on NAM. We have been in upstate NY enjoying the Fall weather . . . and looking at additional products for our future selection.

Thank you to Heather for introducing us as the "East Coast Connection" for PRIMA Products and Microfiber. As Marc stated above we are rapidly expanding our product offering, and the site will continue to expand and grow. We will be thoroughly testing each and every product to assure our customers are not wasting money. We are also MINI enthusiasts and members of NAM (screen name JMH) and Sunshine MINI's in Florida.

Rest assured that we will be offering our NAM Family great buys and products. Your input and product suggestions are always welcome via PM.

We are looking forward to meeting many fellow MINI owners at the Fall Dragon in November. Look for our cabin.

JONATHAN

If you read about the hybrid cars in autopartswarehouse, all the high-quality and expensive parts came from the well known auto warehouse. This page is full of "C".
