Ah it's not like the mini is going anywhere. I am actually thinking of doing the H & R Springs. I want to do coil overs but right now I just don't feel like spending the cash and especially since I am going to do all the motor work with inter cooler and everything next month.

Ha! That's correct. I've had this vehicle sitting for years with very little use. It must get used and I need to make it my own so I want to use it more. I added 2" lift shackles to the rear, turned the torsion keys up about 1.5". Added some spacers all around so the wheels aren't so sunken in. Next up is a 2.5" suspension lift and 2" body lift. Never been a huge fan of body lifts but... I should be able to clear 32's with some slight trimming.

Just got back from Gorham, NH. Cold and a good dusting of snow up in the whites. Just scored a brand new set of Nokian WR D3 runflat winter shoes for the wife's car. Guy bought them last year for his wife's 2013 MCS but sold the car for a X1. Had another guy interested but didn't want to make the drive. Hmmmmm. For his insane asking price of $125 for all 4, it was worth the drive.

Also have a ELM327 OBDII Bluetooth Scan Tool for $15. Will not work with IPhones.

 

My car didn't play well with the elm units. I tried 3 different ones even a kiwi 2. Palmer performance was kind enough to send me a gopoint Bluetooth unit at no cost to resolve the issues. Works great!

I have the wifi elm and it works great. Haven't tried it on either 2012 MINIs yet. I have no use for it since it doesn't work with apple products.

 

All 3 units worked fine in Tracy's car and my blazer with my iphone and ipad but didn't work and caused strange problems with my car. The Gopoint works seamlessly. That should work with your iphone with wifi. That was one of the units I tried. Sent from my iPad using NAMotoring
