Ella and I will be making the journey to the southern tip of Seneca Lake this weekend. If you're going to be there, give a wave and say Hello. We'll be there in our Indi Blue Cooper w/checkered mirrors, along with my brother in his BRG S.

Reason: Deleted part that could be read as critical of NEMINI
I'm expecting to be there Saturday and Sunday. Also, the International Motor Racing Research Center (in the Village of Watkins Glen) will be open early on Sunday morning for viewing the Grand Prix of Italy on their HUGE projection TV. SpeedTV coverage starts at 7:30am. The IMRRC web site is:

Sorry that I missed you folks. As I was walking around on Saturday afternoon, I did see the 2 MINI's from Connecticut, along with a 3rd (NJ, maybe?). As I had originally parked near the Tower Club, I moved my car over and it was the 4th car in line. Unfortunately everyone was gone by the time that I came back to leave for the day.
I don't know if you have been to the Zippo event before, but I believe it is the largest vintage weekend in North America in terms of number of participants (somewhere at or just above 500). We do have a spring vintage weekend put on by HSR, but it is about half the size than this one that SVRA does in the fall. Perhaps as a sign of the times, only one GTP car ran, no GTP Lights, no Indy cars, no F-1 cars and only 1 GT-40. Bummer...
If you ever need any info about restaurants, other attractions in the area, etc., drop me a line.
