R4TC Run for the Corners Anyone??

Could be. This is the year, it has been almost two.

Good timing would be late September, early October.

Please let us know....this would be fun.

Run4theCorners 2009 Mind readers! I recently polled the NMMINI Board for good dates for this year, as it is the year to Run again. Late September is definitely looking best.

Original thoughts on R4tC were to stay overnight in a different state each year, but it's worked out that we stayed in Cortez, CO the last two times. I did some checking and there are options in both Arizona and Utah, as well as Nuevo Mexico:

AZ:
Chinle, near Canyon de Chelly National Monument
Best Western, Holiday Inn and Thunderbird Lodge

UT:
Bluff, at the end of a twisty-looking road, Hwy 163
Several Hotels and Lodges

NM:
Aztec, near Aztec ruins

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...2,3.526611&z=8

Let us know what you want to do. I'll try to post this on AZ and UT sites as well.

Cheers,
Steve e

Yes. Steve and I communicated yesterday

and we will have final details this weekend, about 6 weeks in advance of the event. The dates posted are FIRM and will not change. Well, should not change. We are going to call it R4TB Run for the Borders rather than Corners since we have decided NOT to go to 4 Corners this year, but we want to go have fun.

Okay, I'm in. I promise to have Gloria detailed so I don't embarrass her again in front of the other MINI's.
Also trying to drag a friend into this, (he said he would bring Mumble!) he's on NAM here somewhere, he has a Clubman and just moved to somewhere in NM a while back. (I'm not good on remembering the details.)
