MINI5280 is proposing a ride on April 18th to the Sand Dunes National Monument near Alamosa, CO. Here is the proposed route: Sandy Crack
This route is about 250 miles for us Denverites so if we leave at 7:00 AM, pick up the CS bunch at 8:00 AM we should be skiing down sand dunes by +/- 11:30 AM. This would give us about 5 hours of dune time and some lunch picnic style before heading back.
We would really love to meet some of our pals from south of the border (Colorado border) and do some club to club bonding in the sand.

but I think he means well. He seems to live in his own little world but I guess it is OK - they know him there.

Well, 5280, this sounds like a lot of sand in my socks (and other places) but nothing short of a wild ride. I'll put this forward to NMMINI and see how many we can motor up with.
Who's in charge of ordering up the beautiful weather? Would that be Chuck?
