Antenna snapped off

Car wash broke off my antenna -- but I'm not quite sure what broke/what I need.

I guess the entire base needs to be replaced? Can I do that without taking down the entire headliner?

Ebay has a few
You don't have to take the headline out just drop it a bit in the back

The stock roof antenna base is HERE and the antenna shaft is HERE. You can go with a stubby or the stock unit. Be sure to check your manufacture date to confirm for the stock one. Otherwise, you might be able to find either of these in the marketplace. DIY help HERE, last post.

+1 just drop it a bit. Did you have the the Navigation version ( shark fin ) or the standard version with the long or stubby antenna ?

Standard: 65206920279 - 7/2004 models.

Then here is a stubby antenna option:

MINI newest version 83mm

We even have the older MINI design in URO version 105mm .

MINI

URO

OR

Navigation version 84506918548

No additional long or short antenna

Thanks for the info! I picked up a used base from Way and then the Cap only from MiniMania.

If they actually work properly I'll probably pick up another stubby antenna. Can't believe the whole base ripped off.

You have to be careful with car washes that are not touchless. I've seen side mirrors get ripped off before as well as multiple antennas. Glad you got it all fixed up.

ok, If the weakness of the plastic and the brushes of the car wash. Did you go though a brush system ? I only use laser when I have to, otherwise I try to do it by hand all the time.
