My son wants to put better bass in the Mini. He's started saving his money for an upgrade but a quick search doesn't have anything stand out to me.

Thoughts? Limited trunk space but plent for a sub yeah...easy install at a local sound shop?

 

If you look around here, I think you'll find that our subwoofer system is hands down the best-sounding, best-looking, and easiest to install. Budget is usually the only deal-breaker - if that weren't an issue I'm pretty sure we'd be in every MINI on the road. If I could make it cheaper, I would. It's an expensive thing to do right.

Be careful with local shops. Some are good, many are not.

Absolutely, looks very nice...but at $1150 uninstalled (if I'm reading it right), is probably a bit steep for his pocket. Won't say never...but...
