Has anyone ever noticed the Dolby Digital surround symbol on the head unit display? It's never lit but if you catch the screen at the correct angle you can see it. I happen to have a CD recorded in Dolby Digital Surround but it doesn't light up the symbol when I put it in, so it's not decoding DD Surround. Does anyone have any idea when this light would come on or why it's there? BTW, I have H/K.

Is it a Dolby Digi-surr symbol, or just the standard Dolby symbol?
My guess is that it is used in the tape version of the head unit (yes, that is available, a compact cassette player), since the head unit display is the same for standard and HK, and I would guess it is just the standard Dolby symbol.

I completely forgot about the availibility of a tape deck . That's probably what it's for.
