In your VO do you have $620 if you don't just add it and that should fix your voice control issues.

I have news about my CIC retrofit.
This morning I instaled the Combox with the bluetooth antena. I pass the USB cable, Combox cable and optical fiber cable to the foot rest.
I am very afraid of making a mistake.
Any advice?
@ahorvath , what do you thing about bluetooth antena position?

It should work our cars are small so I don't think it will be a issue. My antenna is under the center console which is covered with plastic same as the box cover. I see you have a Chili red Mini I have the same color.

Yes! this is my chili red

I´m worried about the 26 pin Combox conection. I have doubts about how take off the pines of aux and mic from the radio conection.

Very nice here is a picture of mine.

You don't have to remove the pins you can splice the wires together if you want. I have a pin removal tool set so it was not a big deal to remove the pins. It is a pain with out the tools.

Yes, the BLNC wire is a regular wire with thicker than normal outside cover. I used speaker wire for it.

You don't have to connect the combox other side to the CIC only to the mic and the AUX connector.

@ahorvath sorry for another question.

What pin of the main conector is for;
10 AUX GND
23 AUX NF L
24 AUX NF R

My wires don´t have the colour of the scheme
I have; Grey, Brown, White

And, in my car I only have a BLNC wire from the MIC, I don´t have BLNC wire in AUX, It´s normal?

Thanks!!!

Hi. I would like to upgrade my speedometer too. But I'm unable to find a speedometer with the cut-out for the screen. Do you have any advice for me what keywords I need to use in my parts search?

Try searching eBay for Mini Cooper R56 nav speedometer or Mini Cooper R56 nav. There were a couple of them listed a few weeks ago.

Or, I have one I'd be willing to sell — I bought some extra parts while doing my install. It's not cosmetically flawless but it works fine. Let me know if you want pics.

There are two kind of screens one for the CCC and the other is for the CIC. Make sure that it is for the right radio. If you have the black radio single unit than you have a CIC if you have the double unit than it is a CCC.

You can also look for the screen at Car-Part.com.

This is a CCC unit from 2010 or older Mini R56

I'm starting to get the parts to do the Nav upgrade, but am unsure on the radio I got.

It's from a 2011 R60 with a 1/20/2011 production date.

From the vin it shows it had option 606 Navigation System Business not 6UM Mini Navigation System.

Any idea if this will work?

Exactly the same unit I installed in my retrofit. I think you will be fine. I still don't know what is the deference between 606 and 6UM it has Mini connected, it uses the same combox and same screen. I think somebody just changed the code or something.
