Can your stock radio be turned on without a key?
Hi all,
I'm having a electrical problem with my 03 R53 and I think it's something to do with the power from the radio and lights.
I wanted to know if you guys can turn on and hear music in your cars without the key in the ignition and switched on.

Yes.
If I get in my car without key in the ignition and push the radio power button, the radio will turn on and I can hear music.

Yep, that is a feature of the factory radio. No key needed...Press power & enjoy 20 minutes of music before it auto-shuts off.

I could have sworn it was a half-hour before it shut off, but I've never timed it.
