Sub woofer - jl 6w3

I got a basslink to try, see market place, but it was too much for my needs, I am looking at the JL 6w3 . I need fill not boom. Anyone have any experience with this.

I had a 10W3V3 before my Focal sub it was decent, compared to the Focal, I now have a 10W6V2 which I would say is pretty amazing

Interesting as I was just researching this sub. Can it fit into the factory 6x9 opening w/o modifcation (meaning not having to cut away anything but drilling new holes is ok)? Is there enough depth? If so, I think this would be a better solution than the Genesis P69 subs I was considering.
