iPhone/iTouch 3.1.2 Firmware Update

every since I updated my iTouch, I can no longer play music in the MINI via the MINI provided cable. I can see the songs/playlists, but they won't select/play.

Will be trying to downgrade later today

Same for me; 3.1.2 on a Touch works like a champ in my Mini.

iPod Touch in center armrest

Hey guys, do you just plug your Touch into the wacky Y connector, or do any of you have it in the armrest? I have a regular iPod, but it really bugs me that it plugs in and kind of half hangs on the curled up cable in that center console area. I have the smartphone adapter in my center armrest and would consider upgrading to a touch if I could put it in that armrest and control the songs on it and have it charge. I'm thinking that if it can be done with an iPhone it can be done with a Touch? Thanks, Patrick

I reset my iTouch to default & now 3.1.2 works fine.

I also hate the connection; more so for the fact that if the wires are jiggled (by putting using the cup holder) I lose stereo or it gets all static'y. I do wonder if I had the 2nd location installed (where the cd changer would go) if I wouldn't have these issues?

Ipod Touch 3rd Gen

When I plugged in my new Ipod Touch last night, I can't get the MINI HiFi radio to recognize my mp3 player. Under USB it says empty, whereas my Nano it recognizes. I am using the factory Y adapter, and I can play using using through the audio cable, but I would like to use the radio controls and the interface in my car. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Some people say that I will never get the money out of my MINI that I have put into it. I say, "I get my money's worth everytime I hit the ignition button".
