JL Cleansweep in a 09 MCS non-hifi....

I installed a cleansweep in my 09 mini yesterday....more out of "what if it makes a great improvement" and the fact that i got a GREAT ebay deal....that being said....

its definitely NOT needed in the Mini Cooper.....while the sound may or not be better....the difference is so minor that my recommendation would be to not do it. That and the voiume knob is a PIA with a cooper unless i can find a way to make the volume in the cooper stay at one level when i turn the car off and turn it back on.

Had you previously done the channel swap? It seems like it wouldn't be needed for the front channels, but possibly the back if you keep them as-is.

Sure it would definitely benefit a 4 channel install, and i should have mentioned that i am only doing a 2 channel plus subwoofer install.

I had not done a channel swap...because when (and if) i do get to the back speakers for midbass fill, i will want the 100hz roll-off.
