Adding Factory GPS Navigation System to new 2009 JCW

Hi folks,

I've just picked up a 2009 JCW, and it's pretty much perfect but it was spec'd without the factory navigation system.

So I was wondering/hoping if anyone else has had success in getting a the factory navigation system (EG the one that sits in the middle of the central speedo) to a car that was delivered without one and can provide some pointers in terms of parts/costs associated such a project.

I'm not thinking of doing this myself, I'd either have the dealer or an independent specialist handle the work.

I understand that this might be quite expensive but I'm trying to keep everything really clean inside the car and so I don't want to just add an aftermarket GPS unit.

Cheers,

Andrew

Although it can be done there are a few modules missing and the head unit and speedo need to be changed.

At last check cost was well over 4K for parts alone plus about 20 hours of labor.

If you really have to have it order another car and return this one ASAP.

Also just a note for you as a newbie here. 98% of you questions are probably answered here on NAM already. In fact this one has been answer a few times. Using the Search will really help you out. Search is your Friend here on NAM.
